Malcolm Francis is an Emmy-winning/nominated music producer and composer who has worked in film and television for last two decades.

Heralded with a “Philip Glass-like sense of rhythmic, repetitious motifs constantly pushing forward” (Variety) and “recalling the least nerve-jangling work of Philip Glass” (Seattle Screen Scene), Malcolm has composed the complete scores for Emmy Nominated The Age of Consequences, Requiem for the American Dream, Disruption, Do The Math, Disobedience & Healing From Hate: Battle For the Soul of a Nation.

Malcolm composed ‘Humanity has Not Yet Failed’ winning an Emmy for Music Producer, The Artificial Leaf, which won the Jury Prize at Focus Forward in Sundance and toured film festivals worldwide. He also composed the music for Money is Material and Impossible, both Vimeo Staff Picks.

He served as music supervisor on the cult classic “I Think We’re Alone Now” and co-produced the music-driven film, “Awake Zion” (FilmBuff).

Malcolm has written and composed for Sy-Fy, MTV, HBO, Discovery, and CMT’s “Artist of the Year Awards” 14 years running.

Malcolm has done remix work for Etta James, Donna Summer, Willie Nelson, Warmducher, and other aspiring artists from Sony, RCA, and many independent labels.
